Firm joins forces with USA company
July 21, 2010
The Kings Head Hotel, Ross-on-Wye, is one of the first hotels in the region to join US hotel group Magnuson Hotels in a bid to compete with bigger hotel brands and attract customers.
A continuing slide in business and rooms prices in the UK has prompted US company Magnuson Hotels to launch over here.
Magnuson, which represents more than 1,500 independent properties across North America, offers a free marketing service to hotels.
It claims it can dramatically increase bookings simply by raising the visibility of members online and through the major booking systems used by travel agents worldwide.
