Illinois Best Western rebrands as Magnuson Grand Hotel and Conference Center

Formerly a Best Western of five years, the 98-room Magnuson Grand Hotel seeks to upgrade its local, regional and national market position with the Magnuson Hotels brand designation.
Daniel Millard, owner of the Magnuson Grand Hotel and Conference Center, saw the opportunity to increase overall quality and fulfill the need to drive more reservations at lower costs than previous franchises allowed. “We were just tired of all the demands and requirements of franchising with little return on our investment.
