Magnuson Hotel brands report 35.2% reservation increase

Magnuson Hotels, the world’s largest independent hotel group, announced today a 35.2 percent increase in hotel reservations year-to-date 2012 versus 2011 for its 3 hotel brands.
The three non-franchise hotel brands, Magnuson Grand Hotels, Magnuson Hotels and M Star Hotels comprise the company’s fastest growing segment, the Magnuson Hotels Premier Collection.
While US hotel occupancy continues to stagnate in the 50% occupancy range, Magnuson Worldwide attributes continued increases in booking volumes to a constant expansion of its worldwide reservation system, including its free global distribution channel Global Hotel Exchange.
