What is your cancellation policy?

Each hotel has their individual cancellation policy. Before you confirm your booking, it will show the cancellation policy for that specific hotel.

How do I change or cancel a reservation?

To change or cancel reservations go to the reservations link at the top or bottom of the home page. From there just enter your last name and confirmation number to access your reservation.

I can’t find my reservation number, how do I get a new one?

To retrieve your reservation number, please email info@magnusonhotels.com with the name of the hotel you are inquiring about, city, state, your full name, and dates of stay. A dedicated representative will get back to you as soon as possible.

Can I change or cancel a non-refundable reservation?

Yes, you may edit your reservation outside of the cancellation policy. However, if the reservation was not booked on www.magnusonhotels.com, you will need to cancel or edit your reservation through the travel agent whom you booked through.

My reservation is prepaid, do I still need to provide a credit card to the front desk?

Yes. The prepaid amount covers your room plus tax. The hotel requires your credit card to cover any incidental fees, such as extra person charges and pet fees.

How do I know my reservation is confirmed?

After submitting your reservation you will be sent an email notification detailing your reservation information.

How do I get a receipt for my reservation?

Upon booking, a confirmation email will be sent to you immediately. Since we do not charge you directly, you will obtain your actual receipt from the hotel when you check out.

When will I be charged for my hotel reservation?

You will be charged based on the hotel’s policy. You can find that policy in the rate details noted during the booking process.

I canceled my reservation, when will I be credited?

If you’re outside of the cancellation policy, no credit is necessary, as your reservation is not prepaid. However, if you do not cancel within the terms of the hotel’s policy, you will not be issued a credit if you are charged the cancellation penalty.

Do I need to give my credit card to make a hotel reservation online?  Is it secure?

Yes.  Magnuson Hotels online reservations system is secure and your guest information (including credit card) will be encrypted as it passes over the Internet. You will be switched to our secure server when personal information such as guest data or credit card numbers need to be transmitted. You can tell you are on our secure server when the address begins with “https” rather than “http”. Also, a lock will display at the bottom of your browser window notifying you that the page is secure. For more information please see our Privacy & Security Policy page.

Will my credit card be charged if I forget to cancel my reservation?

Yes, you must cancel your reservation before the cancellation window. The cancellation policy will be stated before you confirm your booking. If you do not cancel within the hotel’s policy, the hotel is authorized to charge you at least one night’s room charge.

How do I make a reservation for a large group?

If you would like to make a reservation for a large group, please email groups@magnusonhotels.com with the hotel name, city, state, the dates you and your group would like to stay, and your contact information so that a dedicated representative can further assist you.

I want to bring my pet. Will the hotel allow it?

Each hotel has their own policies on pets. In many cases it is listed under hotel details and amenities once you’ve selected a location you are interested in. Upon reservation check out it is also listed under Terms & Conditions when entering your guest and credit card information.

What do I need to bring at hotel check in?

Upon check-in the guest will need a valid hotel ID and credit card. Having your reservation number available is also useful.

How do I find the arrival and check-out times for the hotel?

Each hotel sets their own check-in and check-out times. When entering your guest and credit card information you can view individual hotel check in/out times and General Policy information under Terms & Conditions. If you have specific needs, please contact your hotel directly by visiting www.google.com and search by the hotel name or address.

Can I check-out late from my hotel?

Each hotel sets their own check-in and check-out times. Check with your hotel upon check in as to availability of this option.

How do I comment on a recent stay?

We welcome your feedback. To submit any comments on a recent stay, go to the Contact Us page.  On the Contact Us page you will find a link that brings up a form for your comments.

Where do I find room descriptions?

To view room descriptions for specific hotels, go to the search or advanced search option on the home page, type the location (city, state, attraction or hotel name) that you want to visit and click “search”. Then click the photo or hotel name of the hotel of interest. Click on “check availability” and it will display room descriptions.

Star Club is the Magnuson Hotels rewards program the gives you a $50 Amazon.com gift card for every 10 nights booked at participating hotels on www.magnusonhotels.com. Register for membership at our Star Club link on www.magnusonhotels.com.
