Former Best Western Celebrates Five Years as Magnuson Hotel Zephyrhills
November 4, 2013
Magnuson Hotels, the world’s largest independent hotel group, congratulates the Magnuson Hotel Zephyrhills upon five years as a Magnuson Hotel brand.
Formerly the Best Western Zephyrhills, Florida, the hotel upgraded its local, regional and national market to attract business, group and leisure travelers via an affiliation with Magnuson Hotels’ global portfolio of nearly 2,000 hotels.
“We’ve been with Magnuson for 5 years as of August. Things are going well and we are very happy with the higher revenue from the Magnuson Hotels brand,” stated Eileen Stevens, daughter of George Sowa, owner of the Magnuson Hotel Zephyrhills. “It’s simple and easy. We don’t have to jump through hoops like with other franchises. The fees are thousands of dollars less than the other hotel chains.”
Located in the center of Zephyrhills, the award-winning Magnuson Hotel is within easy access to all of the tourist favorites of Pasco County. The hotel is located near an array restaurants, theaters, and shopping malls. In addition, the city’s top tourist attraction, the Zephyrhills Municipal Airport and its world renowned skydiving center, Skydive City, is just a few minutes’ drive away.
At the Magnuson Hotel Zephyrhills, guests will enjoy a refreshing outdoor pool, a complimentary continental breakfast, modern conference rooms, business services, and organized trips to Skydive City. All rooms are recently remodeled and include a refridgerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron with board, and wireless internet access.
“It is a pleasure and honour to congratulate George Sowa and his team upon five years as the Magnuson Hotel Zephyrhills,” stated Thomas Magnuson, CEO of Magnuson Worldwide.
The Magnuson Hotel Zephyrhills receives complete global brand representation without the costs and requirements of franchise brand affiliation. It expands its business through Magnuson Hotels’ massive hotel reservation network including 650,000 GDS travel agents, all global corporate accounts, over 2,000 Internet booking channels such as Global Hotel Exchange, Expedia, Hotels.com, Priceline, and all major airlines websites.
