Independent Arkansas Royal Inn celebrates 2 years as M Star Searcy
April 19, 2013
Magnuson Hotels, the world’s largest independent hotel group, congratulates today the M Star Searcy upon two years as a Magnuson Hotel brand.
Formerly the Royal Inn Searcy located just north of Little Rock, Arkansas, the hotel upgraded its local, regional and national market to attract business, group and leisure travelers via an affiliation with Magnuson Hotels’ global portfolio of nearly 2,000 hotels.
“The best thing about Magnuson Hotels is that we are still independent. We can mark the hotel as a brand but still own and operate it the way we want,” stated hotel owner Manish Patel. “Magnuson is not taking anything away, they are giving back. You get a 10% rebate, and unlike other brands, nothing is out of your pocket and you still get exposure to the OTAs.”
Corporate, educational, government and leisure travelers will appreciate this newly remodeled facility located just north of Little Rock, Arkansas. The M Star Searcy offers easy access to hiking, golfing, white water rafting, shopping, swimming, boating and local attractions Historic Black House, Rialto Theater and Harding University.
Guests of the M Star Searcy receive complimentary continental breakfast, wireless Internet and pet friendly facilities. Rooms offer flat screen televisions, electronic door locks, air conditioning, free local calls, coffee maker, hairdryer, alarm clock/radio, iron and board, microwave and mini fridge.
“It is a pleasure and honour to congratulate Manish Patel and his team upon two years as the M Star Searcy,” stated Thomas Magnuson, CEO of Magnuson Worldwide. “Manish and his team are now 2 year members of the Magnuson Hotels Premier Collection, an elite portfolio of the highest quality hotels and locations represented by Magnuson Worldwide.”
The M Star Searcy receives complete global brand representation without the costs and requirements of franchise brand affiliation. It expands its business through Magnuson Hotels’ massive hotel reservation network including 650,000 GDS travel agents, all global corporate accounts, over 2,000 Internet booking channels such as Global Hotel Exchange, Expedia, Hotels.com, Priceline, and all major airlines websites.
