North Carolina Holiday Inn Express rebrands as Magnuson Hotel Whiteville

WHITEVILLE, NC – Magnuson Hotels, the world’s largest independent hotel group, announced today the complete rebranding of the Holiday Inn Express of Whiteville, NC. The 62-room hotel seeks to upgrade its local, regional and national market position with the Magnuson Hotels brand designation. The hotels’ new brand name is the Magnuson Hotel Whiteville.
Autry Dawsey, Sr., President of Premiere Hospitality Group, owners of the hotel, stated he is “delighted to affiliate a second hotel property with the Magnuson Brand.” Premiere Hospitality Group also owns and operates the Buccaneer Inn – An Independent Magnuson Hotel in Morehead City, NC. Russell Honeycutt, Executive Vice President of Premiere Hospitality Group, Inc., stated “We made a prudent business decision to improve our bottom line without increasing our rates to our loyal customers,” when asked why he chose to change the hotel’s representation.
